“The Passionate Fashionista’s” Fashion Critique of
The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards
Award Season Has Begun!
I watched the “Live from the Red Carpet“ special on E! and was carefully taking notes on trends of the red carpet and making a list of the Best Dressed and Worst Dressed celebrities of the evening; although it was hard to keep up with all of the beautiful gown
In this post, I am going to pretend I am one of the judges on E!’s “Fashion Police“ and reveal my “Best Dressed” and “Worst Dressed” picks, and ultimately pick my favorite look of the evening and my least favorite.
There were some dresses that I wasn’t sure if I “liked” or” hated.” I am going to let you make the decision on those dresses.
Best Dressed List
Ladies in Red
Golden Globe Winner Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture
“This is Dior Haute Couture,” she said on the red carpet. “I don’t really know what haute means, but I had to say it.”
-People Magazine Online
Claire Danes (1 Month after giving birth) in Versace
Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta
Nude/Pale Pink Gals
Women in Black
(One of my favorite dresses of the night)
Best Dressed List (cont.)
My Pick for Best Dressed- Kate Hudson
My Worst Dressed List
My Worst Dressed Pick- Jodie Foster
Jodie , although the color of this dress does bring out your eyes, you look like a shiny and shimmering blue disco ball and I don’t like what is going on with the straps of the dress. You are a terrific actress and congratulations on receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Award.” Stick to what you know best: acting.
My “Love It” or “Hate It”List
“Hit?” or “Miss?”
“Hit?” or “Miss?
“Hit?” or “Miss”
“Hit?” or “Miss?”, You Decide
I want your to hear YOUR thoughts, so please comment on “My Hit or Miss List”, “Worst Dressed”, or “Best Dressed” looks and please add some of your own from last night. I can’t wait to hear what YOU have to say.
Can’t Wait for the SAG Awards
